Why dont lending institurions believe in giving people a second chance at financial freedom?

BK discharged in 2/02, purchased a new car and a new home since then. Want to do a home equity loan to lower our debt to income level, but keep getting rejected.

Has anyone heard of Second Chance lending group?

Any one heard of or used Second Chance lending group? I am in desperate need of a short term loan because of identity theft and someone stealing money from our bank account so my credit looks bad eventhough it is not my fault. I applied with this company but they want me to pay a down payment on the loan. I have never heard of this so I didn’t know if it was a scam or not. I can’t afford to be scammed anymore right now. Please if anyone has any experience let me know. Thanks!
