Predatory lending takes on many forms. Some of the most prevalent are; non disclosure of fees, terms changing at the last minute, phony charges, not giving copies of all signed documents, non disclosure of terms, such as ARM, IO, Balloon payment. Many consumers have no clue as to their rights and options. Fortunately there are a few companies that look into these practices for the general public and advocate on their behalf. email me if you need more info.
Unless its overt racism, your not going to pick up on the signs of predatory lending. It can only really be determined by looking at a group of people to compare your loan against.
